The BitLicense was instituted in September 2015 in the State of New York and it is been used as a model regulation around the world. (Europe might be interested in doing something similar.)

Since October 2015, I have been fighting the Bitlicense in the courts in New York City. In October 2017, my case finally heard in front of a judge. (You can read the transcript here.)

She is wrong and we are appealing the decision. We are looking for people interested to file Amicus Briefs to the appellate court. The whole process is documented by my lawyer in this document. (The deadline is November 1st, 2018)
