I read here on reddit that bitcoin solves The Byzantine Generals Problem. I looked The Byzantine Generals Problem up on google and kind of understand.

So is that the proof of work part of bitcoin that does that? As opposed to say, proof of stake?

Google stuff says blockchain solves general's problems. How can bitcoin solve some generals' problems right away? How can smart people help them use btc so people like my kids can eat and grow up?

Do I just keep watching TV while everyone argues about stuff?
