Hey, how's it going? I opened my Mt. Gox account in 2012, so I've been around a while. I probably didn't really start "investing" in bitcoin until 2015. So I'm over a decade in the space.
My dad told me to sell out when my holdings were worth 75K, and my brother in law said I was crazy to hold on once it passed 125K. In Jan a good buddy of mine said I REALLY should consider transitioning everything to more traditional investments ASAP.
When my brother's kids hit life milestones I gifted them a few hundred bucks in bitcoin and had a standing offer to buy it back from them anytime in cash. They all sold it back to me within a year or two…and they all got a tidy profit.
The thought that occurred to me this week is this: people are fucking stupid.
Cheers boyos!
