FinCEN has extended the comment deadline to this Thursday, January 7th at 11:59PM for their new proposed rules on Requirements for Certain Transactions Involving Convertible Virtual Currency or Digital Assets.

If you haven't written a comment yet, you still can. Please continue to be respectful and professional in your conduct. Even a simple request to extend the comment period is helpful.

My hope was that the ecosystem would be able to reach 2100 comments on these new proposed rules by the end of the comment period…

We're currently sitting at 7001 comments.

Personally, I think 10000 is a nice round number to aim for, don't you?
