So a little over 3 weeks ago we launched our project LuckyThunder, a lightning network slot machine. We've ran an onchain gambling site blockhash.win(offline now) for a little over a year before starting this. And we must say, our experience with Lightning has been great so far, very little errors or difficulties. We can't even compare that to the hassle managing keys was on our onchain project.

So from the 1000 sessions we've encountered 3 LN related problems, 2 of them where all channel balance issues from the clients side. Because this is very little we're considering opening up bigger payment options in the coming days. Only problems we've had on the server side where memory usage problems with our LND node, we've recently moved our servers to facilitate more RAM and they have been fine since. Also the recent backup update from LND improved our security by a lot, shoutout to u/roasbeef & co 😉

Some more stats: LuckyThunder: 1000+ sessions 33000+ spins Most a player has won in one spin: 1,000,000 sat

LN: 35+ Channels have been made 35+ Connected peers 7 payments routed (lol)

More feedback is always appreciated! check us out at: https://www.luckythunder.com/#/

ps.: If anyone wants to get started with developing a lapp themselves, reach out, we can point you in the right direction and are willing to help anyone.
