This is what I did with my 500 series cards – mixed them in with 2 470s on a used cheap motherboard that I got for 25$. Set it and forget it. I will not buy any other 500 series cards… its just a pain when the drivers patch reverts back and needs re-patching…

Parts used:
Motherboard- GIgabyte B85-D3V (used)
CPU – Intel Celeron G1840 (used)
GPUs – RX580 Nitro+ 8G, RX570 Pulse 8G, 2X XFX RX470 4G (470s are re-used from what I already had)
Ram – Cheap DDR3 4G Stick
SSD – mSata 120G SSD in a 2.5 inch shell (reused what I have)
PSU – EVGA 1000G2
Case – Thermaltake Core X9 Cube (used stripped down case that I had sitting around for 2 years)
Risers – 2X Sata PCI-E USB Riser Ver.007 & 1X Molex PCI-E USB Riser Ver.006
