Purchased something from a Twitter friend in El Salvador. Sent him $72 dollars worth of Bitcoin using the lightning network. Transaction from my wallet to his wallet took 5 seconds and cost almost nothing.
No banks, swift, western union, or the red tape and high cost that come along with it… just a bitcoin lightning wallet.
